Ganesh Chauth is observed on the fourth day of Magha Krishna Paksha. It is called Sankat Chaturthi or Sakat Chauth. Take a bath with your head in the morning, apply henna and make a tilkut of white sesame and jaggery. Put water, rice, roli, tilkut and money in a bowl and make thirteen tikkis on a water bottle and listen to the story of Chauth and Bindayak Ji. Then take some tilkut. After listening to the story, put tilkut and money in a bowl and turn your hands and give it by touching the feet of your mother-in-law. Lift the water bottle and the sesame seeds of your hands and keep them. In the evening, offer arghya to the moon and take gym. Give one rupee and tilkut to the one who tells the story of Misrani. When eating food, definitely eat tilkut.
